Manage concession item selling limits or stock counts in remote sales channels to help you avoid overselling stocktakeable items.
At a glance
- Access to your concession item selling limits from remote sales channels can make it easier for you to manage these limits.
- When an item has no selling limit, remote channels show the stock count.
How limits in remote channels are determined
When an item in Cinema Manager has selling limits, you can manage those limits in any of your remote sales channels. In the case of an uncollected booking, the selling limit is reduced to ensure you have enough stock for expected patrons.
Note: Orders that are in-progress at the time data is transferred are not included in concession selling limit determinations.
When an item in Cinema Manager has no selling limit, its stock count at the cinema is used as the selling limit in remote channels.
Only stocktakeable items can have a selling limit. Other items can be sold without limit.
In the Selling Limits Feature Guide, look for EnforceVirtualSellingLimit under Selling Limits systems settings for details on setting up this feature.
