When multiple Loyalty members swipe their membership cards at POS during a single transaction, the tickets and concessions purchased in that transaction need to be assigned to the members so that they can receive membership rewards from the purchase. Loyalty allows for these items to be allocated either manually or automatically at POS.
By enabling automatic allocation, tickets within an order are automatically assigned to members when they swipe their cards during a transaction. If a new item is added to the purchase, or if a new member swipes their card, the tickets are reassigned accordingly. This improves the speed with which a transaction with multiple Loyalty members can be processed. With this setting enabled, all concession items in a transaction are assigned to the primary member (that is, the first member who swiped their card).
- In Loyalty Admin, go to Configuration > Settings.
- Ensure that the value for the system setting TicketAssignMode is set to Automatic.
- Save.
