When you run a loyalty programme, you'll often have a reason to communicate with a subset of members. For example, you might want to offer a free food and beverage item to all the members who joined during a particular promotional campaign, or you might want to email individual members on their birthdays.
You can use Loyalty campaign rules, models, and groups to build marketing lists based on criteria you define. You can then communicate with the subset of members on these lists, or you can extract member data to transfer it to a third-party content provider or communication tool.
Tip: When you're building campaign groups to identify Loyalty members for communication or recognition, you can specify an extract template and an external reference. There is a default extract template that you can use, but if you need to customize the information in the template or have the extract run automatically on a regular schedule, contact your Vista representative for assistance. The External Reference field is used for any third-party reference code needed for your extracts. Your Vista representative can let you know when and how to use this field.
