Film programmers can limit film booking periods for cinema managers using the LimitSessionsToHoldoverFilms system setting. 

After Film programmers add start and end dates to films, cinema managers are prevented from scheduling films outside of the booking period specified in the system setting.

Steps

1. Go to Cinema Manager > Maintenance > System Settings and find LimitSessionsToHoldoverFilms.
2. Use the Configuration Value and select the values to one of the following options:
   • Daily
   • Weekly
   • Weekly and previous

Now, cinema managers using the Film pallete cannot drag films into the grid except during the specified booking period. Films won't appear on the Film pallette if the current planning week doesn't fall withint the booking period. 

Note: Previously valid session can become invalid if the film programmer changes the booking period of a film. If this happens, the cinema manager will no longer be able to edit or save the schedule. Invalid sessions must first be made Inactive or Cancelled before proceeding.
