Marathons appear on the Tickets screen of POS as a single sesson. The session duration equals the sum of the lengths of the included films and set break times (for example, 7.05pm – 2.39am).
By default, POS displays only the first film in the marathon. When scheduling the marathon, the Marathon film field in Showtime Manager can be used to select which component film is used to market the marathon.
Important: The Attributes and Movie Format displayed on POS and digitial signage are taken only from the first list film in the marathon. For example, if The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is configured as 2D, but The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies are configured as 3D, POS will only show that the marathon is 2D.

Ticket Printing
By default, guests receive a single ticket for the marathon.
If Print ticket for each film was enabled when the marathon was configured in Head Office, a separate ticket is printed for each component film. Each ticket displays the name of the individual film rather than the marathon name.
