You can set up a master printer to print copies of all Prepare and/or Pickup Slips, not just those sent to a specific service area. This is particularly useful if there is an error with a printer in a service area, which causes a slip not to be printed. With a Master printer, a copy is always available.

Master Kitchen Service printer

Note: If you are using an All printers setup, additional Network Printers may be set up as the Master Kitchen Printer for all Prepare and/or Pickup Slips.

1. In Cinema Manager, go to Maintenance > Printers and open the printer record you want to configure as the master.
2. Select Master Kitchen Printer for Prepare Slips and/or Master Kitchen Printer for Pickup Slips.
3. Press Save.

Master workstation printer

If you are using a Combination setup of Workstations with Network Printers, a workstation may be set up to treat its network printer as the Master Kitchen Printer for all Prepare and Pickup Slips.

Note: While Kitchen Service Printers can be configured as the master for prepare and/or pickup slips, workstations can only be configured to be the master for both types of slip.

1. In Cinema Manager, go to Maintenance > Workstations and profiles and open the workstation record you want to configure as the master.
2. On the Printers tab, select Kitchen master printer.
3. Press Save.
