Promotion and discount exclusivity – Help Centre

Promotion code: A coupon code must be inputted to access the promotion.
Card Payment: The promotion can only be accessed when paying with a particular brand of card.
Film: the promotion can only be access if the transaction includes ticket types for a particular film.

Different promotion and discount types can be configured as exclusive to different types of sales.

Discount	Loyalty recognition Voucher	Loyalty recognition: The promotion can only be accessed with a particular Loyalty Recognition. Voucher: The promotion can only be accessed when a particular voucher has been scanned.
Deal	Loyalty recognition Voucher	Loyalty Recognition: The promotion can only be accessed with a particular Loyalty Recognition. Voucher: The promotion can only be accessed when a particular voucher has been scanned.

Promotions can also be configured to exclude particular films, distributors, or holidays. Exclusion criteria can be used together - for example a promotion can be excluded for a tagged film group as well as holidays. Configure films and distributors in Customer Experience Manager, and then link them to the promotion exclusion.

Type	Description
Film	The promotion will not be valid for a tagged film, or group of films.
Distributor	The promotion will not be valid for a tagged distributor, or group of distributors.
Holiday	The promotion will not be valid on holidays. Holidays can be configured so they affect all sites, or as a regional holiday which only some cinemas or cinema groups observe.
