The attributes that the contract applies to. You can assign contracts that have different film hire terms to different attributes of a single film (for example, different film languages). The attribute record must have Available on Contracts selected to be available here. Note: If multiple attributes are selected, only sessions that have all the attributes will have the contract applied to them. |
Type |
Normal Private Sneak |
The Contract Type can be defined to record private screenings and sneak previews separately from standard screenings, which may potentially have different terms of play. Note: In order for a Session to be correctly recognised as a private screening or sneak preview, it must be set up in Cinema Manager. |
Distribution Terms |

The Distribution Terms used for the Contract. For example: 90/10: 50,50,40,35,30,25Use the Lookup tool to search for the required terms. Click Drilldown to open the Distribution Terms maintenance form for the currently selected record. |
Cinemas and Screens |

The cinema or cinemas that the Contract applies to. Add cinemas by clicking on the grid row with the asterisk. Use the Add Cinema Group/Add Circuit/Delete Cinema buttons to add or remove multiple Cinemas in this section. |
Start Date

The earliest date and time that a Session of this Film (and for this type) will be shown at the selected Cinema. Note: When a film is selected, this field is automatically set to match the Opening Date of the film, as configured in Film maintenance. |

Starting Year |

Always Pin To Single Selected Screen - House Costs for one specified screen are used for sessions in all screens. Always Split To Actual Screens - Each screen is split into a separate Film Hire record with its own House Costs. Pin To Large Screen - House Costs for the largest screen (probably with the highest House Costs) are used for sessions in all screens. Pin To Small Screen - House Costs for the smallest screen (probably with the lowest House Costs) are used for sessions in all screens. Calculate Per Print - House Costs are calculated based on Print Number, rather than the screen. |

Specify the maximum value in House Cost Value. If the calculated House Costs exceeds this limit, the maximum is used instead.Fixed: Uses fixed house costs for all screens using the contract. Specify the fixed value in House Cost Value and the No. of Sessions required. The fixed house costs override the House Costs set in the Cinema Screens (Film Hire) maintenance form at Head Office.Fixed based on Holdover Sheet: Uses House Costs calculated on the basis of the number of planned sessions in the Holdover Sheet, rather than actual session figures. |

The payment terms arranged for the film hire contract. This determines how many days after the start of the Film Hire Week payment is due. |
Ticket Fees
If you configure a Distributor record to Add Ticket Fee Sharing to New Contracts and Ticket Fee Sharing Applies is selected, when you create a new Contract for a Film belonging to that Distributor, the Ticket Fees and the corresponding Distributions Terms are automatically added to the grid on this tab.
