Films with different movie formats may have different film hire terms (for example: 2D and 3D). Bulk Contracts can be used to create multiple contracts for a film (this allows a single film record to cover all formats).
- Use the Format column to set the format for each contract.
- Select Apply terms to Format.
If two overlapping contracts - one covering a specific movie format and the other covering all formats - are applied to a film, the contract with the latest start date applies. However, if the contracts begin on the same date, a contract for a specific movie format overrides a contract for all formats.
Using different contracts per Movie Format (example)
- If you have one contract for Titanic 3D that starts on 12/03/2014, and one contract for Titanic (all formats) that starts on 26/04/2014, the Titanic (all formats) contract will be assigned to all sessions in any format after that date.
- If you have one contract for Titanic 3D and one contract for Titanic (all formats) which begin on the same date, all 3D sessions will be assigned the Titanic 3D contract, and sessions in any other formats will be assigned the Titanic (all formats) contract.
