Choosing a default film hire pre-calculation deduction for films

For legal or business reasons, your cinema may need to set a default film hire pre-calculation deduction. This enables a cost, which is not directly part of the film hire charge (for example, shipping), to be deducted from the total cost of hire prior to calculation of the actual film hire charge.

The default film hire pre-calculation deduction will be set for each new film as the film data is created.

1. Go to Head Office > Maintenance > System Settings.
2. Select the category FILM HIRE.
3. Double click the system setting FilmPreCalcDeductionDefault and choose the appropriate option.
4. Save.
