Film hire calculation by marathon

You can calculate the film hire value of a marathon by assigning the marathon total gross to each film in the marathon.

Note: This is only available when the system setting DriveInMarathonMode is set to Yes.

The Box Office Split columns are excluded in film hire calculations, and total admits and comps for a marathon are applied to each film. Each unique film in the marathon will have the marathon's gross, admits and comps applied to it. In Drive In mode, the admits, comps and box office for the marathon are applied to each film within the marathon.

Marathon films created in Showtime Manager will be grouped in film hire calculations and reports based on the following categories:

• Marathon film
• Child films
• Marathon sequence

Tip: These categories may cause unexpected groupings in reporting of your marathon films. To correct this, follow the process of Creating a marathon film, and only assign pre-created marathon films when scheduling.
