The POS Dashboard allows a manager to view, or print, performance reports from any POS workstation.
Reports can be viewed for an entire site, or filtered for a selected cinema or user.
Configuring access to the POS Dashboard
Add the Dashboard button to the workstation's layout. Set up security permissions to prevent unauthorised staff from accessing the POS Dashboard.
Steps
- Enable the Dashboard button:
- Open the workstation's POS Button Layout from Cinema Manager > Maintanance > POS Button Layouts.
Note: The button will be enabled for all Workstations using this Layout. - Locate the Dashboard button and select it as Visible.
- (Optional) Specify the Position that you want the button to appear in.
- Click Save.
- Open the workstation's POS Button Layout from Cinema Manager > Maintanance > POS Button Layouts.
- Configure the security permissions:
- Open the system setting SecurityPOSDashboard from Cinema Manager > Maintanance > System settings.
- Set the required level of security approval.
- For example: 2, Duty Manager
- Click Save.
Accessing the POS Dashboard
Before you begin
- Enable the Dashboard button and configure the system setting SecurityPOSDashboard.
Steps
- In POS, tap More > Dashboard.
- Enter the level of security approval required to access the Dashboard.
The POS Dashboard displays the on-screen reports window.
