Requiring a credit card to retrieve paid booking details at POS

For security reasons, you may want to prevent POS operators from retrieving paid booking details unless the patron is physically present.

Applying this procedure causes POS to prompt the operator to swipe the customers credit card before booking details can be displayed, even if the operator attempts to locate the booking through the Find Booking function.

1. Open System Settings from Cinema Manager or Head Office > Maintenance.
2. Locate the POS setting BookingPickupCardRequired, and change its value to Yes.
3. Locate the POS-SECURITY setting SecurityPickupNotSwiped, and set it to the security level required to over-ride the prompt and allow booking details to be displayed without swiping the patrons credit card.
