You may wish to have Workstations that only accept non-cash payments. For example: A special Workstation that only accepts Gift Card payments.

Steps

1. Create a separate Workstation Group for the POS workstation(s) that will be restricted to non-cash Payment Types. For example: Only Gift Card payments.
2. Create a Payment Button for the non-cash Payment Type (e.g. Gift Card) that will be available at Workstations in the Workstation Group. The Payment Button should only apply to the Workstation Group configured above.

   Note: All other Payment Buttons must be allocated to different Workstation Groups. It is possible to define a Payment Button with no Workstation Group, which means it applied to all.

3. Enable the System Setting LimitRefundTenderMethod to ensure refunds are forced back to the original Payment Type (e.g. Gift Card) and do not default to Cash.

Workstations in the configured Workstation Group will only be able to accept payments of the Payment Type of the specially configured Payment Button (e.g. Gift Card).
