POS remembers the seat selection when the patron wishes to change the ticket type after the seats have been allocated.
Manual seat selection
- Select any ticket type for a session (for example, two adult tickets).
- Choose seats.
- Patron wishes to change ticket type at the Payment screen (For example, one adult and one student).
- On the Order screen to change the ticket type (remove one adult and add one student ticket) and complete the order.
Important: POS operator must not remove all the tickets from the order otherwise the seat selection is lost.
If the patron wishes to add another ticket to the current order the POS operator must select a seat for the new ticket.
Automatic seat selection
For automatic seat selection mode POS only remembers the seat if you have the same number of tickets before any changes were made. If the patron adds or deletes a ticket from the original order, old seats are released and new seats are allocated for the order.
