Configuring a customer-facing scanner at POS

A POS workstation may have two barcode scanners: one for use by the POS operator, and another to allow patrons to scan Loyalty barcodes.

1. In Cinema Manager > Maintenance, workstation's record.
2. On the Input Devices tab, enter the Type of Barcode Reader you want to use.
3. Set the Start Character and End Character as defined on the Operator and Customer barcode scanner. Normally these are 002 and 003.

   Important! Each scanner must be configured with a different Start Character.

4. Click Save.
