Cross-site session viewing allows POS operators to view session information for nearby sites as well as their own cinema, enabling them to provide enhanced service to patrons when sessions have sold out.
For example: a patron asks for two tickets to the 19:00 session of Captain America, which has sold out. The next available session, at 21:45, is too late for the patron. The cinema has cross-site session viewing enabled. The operator notices that a nearby cinema on the circuit has a session of Captain America at 19:30 and suggests that session to the patron. The patron travels to the other cinema and is able to buy tickets for the 19:30 session.
Sessions can be filtered by site, film, genre or event, allowing a POS operator to easily provide a patron with the information they want.
Customer-facing displays will also display session information for nearby sites.
