If you want items to belong to a hierarchy of classes, rather than independent classes, go to
. Then select Define Items in Hierarchy.Item analysis modes
Vista can operate in one of the following modes for the purposes of item analysis:
- In the Default mode, items can belong to up to three independent item classes (Item Class 1, 2, and 3). Items must belong to at least one item class (Item Class 1).
- In Hierarchy mode, items may belong to a hierarchy up to three levels deep, of which the first level must Item Class 1, and subsequent levels are entirely configurable.
