The Controlled forms maintenance form in Head Office allows restrictions to be placed on the editing of data downloaded from Head Office to the following maintenance forms:

Distributor Maintenance
Film Maintenance
Fund Transaction Type Maintenance
Item Maintenance
Payment Type Maintenance
Ticket Type Maintenance

The application can also be used to determine how HO Codes function.

Note: The settings configured in this form apply only to the selected maintenance form. The other controlled maintenance forms have their own configured settings. Maintenance forms that are not able to be controlled (that is, those not included in the dropbox) will not be affected by any settings configured in this form.

Note: This field is not editable, use the dropbox at the top of the window to select the form you wish to control the HO Settings for.
Last HO Code Used	1–10 characters	This field displays the most recent HO Code that has been used for records configured in the controlled maintenance form.
Force HO Code to be Unique	cleared selected	If the checkbox is selected, all records created in the controlled maintenance form must have a unique HO Code configured. If the checkbox is cleared, records created in the controlled maintenance form may have common HO Codes. Example: A Film title may have multiple film profiles configured, such as film 2D, digital 2D, digital 3D, IMAX, etc, all with the same HO Code to allow Head Office to produce consolidated reports.
Automatically Generate HO Code	cleared selected	If the checkbox is selected, Vista software will automatically generate a new HO Code when a new record is created in the controlled maintenance form. Note: The format for automatically generated HO Codes in Vista is AXXXXXXXXX, where the X's are numerical characters. If the checkbox is cleared, the HO Code field on the controlled maintenance form will be left blank for the user to configure manually.
HO Code Required	cleared selected	If the checkbox is selected, the HO Code field will be required to be configured before the controlled maintenance form can be saved. If the checkbox is cleared, the HO Code field will be optional.
Can Cinema Edit HO Data	cleared selected	If the checkbox is selected, Back Office users at the Cinema level will be able to edit information on the controlled maintenance form that has been downloaded from Head Office. If the checkbox is cleared, content downloaded from Head Office will not be editable by users in Back Office. The fields downloaded from Head Office can be configured in Head Office Download Field maintenance. Note: This option is only available in Back Office.
HO Code Configurable	cleared selected	If the checkbox is selected, HO Codes for Film maintenance will be automatically generated based on the custom template configured below. Note: This setting only applies to Film maintenance, and does not affect any other controlled forms, such as Distributor. Warning!
