Linking films or concessions to Cinemas and Cinema Groups

Cinemas and Cinema Groups can be linked to Films and Concession Items in Linking and Site Variable Data (Head Office > Maintenance). This controls the Films that can be shown and the Concessions that can be sold at certain Cinemas or Cinema Groups.

Note: It is not possible to link Vendors to Cinemas/Cinema Groups in this application. Vendors are automatically linked when one or more Concession Items belonging to the vendor are linked.

Cinema/Cinema Group links to Films/Concessions are indicated by the word linked in the appropriate cell in the grid. To remove a link, simply click the word linked in the cell. To add a new link, click the appropriate empty cell to add the word linked.

When a link is added or removed, the cell will have a red border surrounding. This will indicate that data has changed and saving is required. The cell will return to normal after the grid has been saved.

Note: This linking functionality replaces the Film Cinema Links application. Changes to linking in this form will be reflected in the Film Cinema Links maintenance form and visa versa. Film Cinema Links maintenance is available from the Legacy Price and Link Programs folder.
