There are two aspects to saving in Linking and Site Variable Data (Head Office > Maintenance), each with a different save button.

Saving Display Settings

The first time this form is accessed, no display preferences will be set. Once you have set up the application display, the settings can be saved for the next time the application is opened. This includes which Films, Concessions, Cinemas and Cinema Groups are displayed.

1. Set up the application display as required.
2. Click the Settings ribbon tab.
3. Click the Save button.

The display settings will be saved and used the next time an operator runs the application. Display settings previously saved can be restored using the Restore button on the Settings tab.

Saving Grid Data

When data in the grid is modified, such as Film/Concession data and links with Cinemas/Cinema Groups, it must be saved.

1. Modify film/concession data and links with cinemas/cinema groups as required.
2. Click the Vista hands pearl in the top-left corner of the window.
3. Click the Save button.

The data edited/entered in the grid will be saved. Any red borders around cells indicating modified data will disappear.

Note: The Save button on the Settings ribbon tab does not save grid data.
