Head Office allows you to control the ability of your cinemas to order and sell items.
- Limit item sales and stock ordering for individual items at each site.
- Vary prices and quantities of item packages at each site.
- Control the download of alternate items to each site.
Centralised control allows you to run product trials at select sites, price concessions to reflect the consumer preferences in different regions, and minimise mistakes made by cinema managers.
Example
ABC Cinemas wants to trial a new confectionery brand at some cinemas in the circuit. One week before the trial starts, the participating cinemas are allowed to order stock of the items. On the start day of the trial, the items are made available for sale at POS. Cinemas in the circuit not participating in the trial are prevented from stocking and selling the items. After the trial, all sites are prevented from stocking and selling the confectionery. On the basis of good sales results, head office then decides to roll out the confectionery to all sites a month after the trial. To boost margins, ABC sites in more upmarket locations will sell the confectionery at a higher price than the sites located elsewhere.
