For reference when creating a custom dashboard in Horizon. Each item on a dashboard is linked to a data source, whether preconfigured or newly created. The preconfigured data sources are explained below:
Box Office per Film
Box office and attendance data for a selected date range, aggregated per day, film, cinema, and sales channel.
Cinema Occupancy Week vs Week
Total session capacity and attendance per cinema, per day for the given week, and the previous week, allowing occupancy comparison in each week.
Note: The WeekNumber parameter represents how many weeks ago from today you'd like to request data for. For example, 0 is this week, 1 is last week, and so on.
Daily Box Office
Box office and attendance data for a selected date range. Sessions can be grouped by time of day, session date, cinema, film, and format. Box office and attendance can be grouped by ticket type, sales channel, and Loyalty membership.
Daily Concession Sales
Concession sales quantity and values, plus cost of sales, for a selected date range, aggregated by sale date, time of day, item sold, cinema, and sales channel. Sales and refunds can be combined for total sales values or reported separately.
Daily KPIs
Daily totals of box office, attendance, concession sales and cost, and labour hours and cost, for a selected date range. Box office and attendance are reported by session date, and concessions by sale date. Budgets for each of these values are included, where available, to allow comparison with actual results.
The values in this data source can be used to calculate a variety of KPIs such as spend per head, average ticket price, labour cost per guest, guests per labour hour, and so on.
Occupancy
Attendance, box office, and capacity per session over a selected date range, allowing occupancy to be calculated per session. Metrics can be aggregated to calculate occupancy by session, film, screen, time of day, date, format, and genre.
Realtime Box Office
Total box office sales per 15-minute interval per cinema for a given date range, allowing sales to be viewed over time. Admit and box office data is reported by sale date and time.
Revenue and Admits Week vs Week
Admits, box office, and concession revenue for the selected week, the previous week, and the same week in the previous year. Values are aggregated per cinema, per revenue date.
Note: The WeekNumber parameter represents how many weeks ago from today you'd like to request data for. For example, 0 is this week, 1 is last week, and so on.
Sales Activity by Sales Channel
Box office, concession, sundry, and voucher sales revenue per sale date, sales channel, and cinema, for a selected date range. All values are reported by date and time of sale. This is for use in reporting sales activity by sales channel over time.
Sales Channel Performance
Box office and concessions metrics per sales channel, cinema, and day, for a selected date range. Box office data includes revenue, admits, comps, and transaction counts, and is reported by session date. Concession data includes revenue, costs, and transaction counts by revenue date. This data source allows for KPIs like Spend Per Admit and average ticket price to be reported per sales channel.
Subscription Member Activity
Sales activity by members of Subscription programmes for a selected date range. Box office and concession sales aggregated per sale date, film, concession item, cinema, Loyalty club, and subscription.
Note: Requires Subscriptions module.
Subscription Member History
The number of new and expiring subscriptions per day for a selected date range, allowing success of subscription schemes to be reported over time.
Note: Requires Subscriptions module.
Top Performing Cinema for Week
Attendance, box office, and concession sales data for a selected week, the previous week, and the same week in the previous year, aggregated by date and cinema. All values are reported by revenue date.
Note: The WeekNumber parameter represents how many weeks ago from today you'd like to request data for. For example, 0 is this week, 1 is last week, and so on.
Weekly KPI Growth
Box office, concession, and labour metrics for the week containing the selected date, the previous week, and the same week in the previous year. The results can be used to calculate KPIs such as Spend Per Admit and admits per labour hour, and compare them over the three periods.
The Period field is used to differentiate between the three weeks. Box office data is reported by session date, concession data by revenue date, and labour data by business date.
