Process tips on the Payment Screen at the same time as paying off an order when a customer is paying using receipt (paper) tips.
- On POS, ring up items in a normal order, or open a Tab order you wish to add a tips payment to.
- Press the Payment Screen button.
- Press the Tips payment button.
- Enter the tip amount and press Enter. The tip amount is added as a line on the payment screen.
- Complete processing payment as normal.
Receipt (paper) tips can also be updated for transactions retrospectively by using the Tips Screen.
Note: If you have PIN pad tips set up but a customer rejects the tip screen on a PIN pad (i.e. the tip is $0), a tip can still be added to their payment using the Tips screen.
