Updating card payment tips at POS

POS operators can manage card payment tips at POS.

1. Open the Tips screen: More > Tips

   Note: The server sees a list of all card payments received in chronological order. A server can only view payments that they processed themselves, or payments processed on their behalf for a tab they are the owner of.

   Payment lines with no tips entered yet are displayed in bold and red.
2. Select a Tip, Total, or Percentage Tip cell to update.

   Note: If the system setting POSTipEntryAllowTotalOnly is set to Yes, only cells in the Total column can be updated.

3. Enter the required value on the numeric keypad, and press Enter.

   Note: When entering a new Percentage Tip, the value that can be entered is limited by the system setting POSTipEntryMaxPercentage. If the value entered exceeds that of the system setting, security approval will be required to continue, depending on the setting SecurityTipExceedMaxPercentage.

The Tip Summary values are updated accordingly.
