Removing an automatic gratuity before payment at POS

If a customer indicates that they do not wish to pay the automatic gratuity amount, it can be removed. Automatic gratuity is only a suggested tip amount, and customers don't have to pay it if they don't want to.

1. Open the check you wish to remove gratuity from.
2. Open the Check Details screen: More > Check Details. The Check Details screen appears with the Order Surcharge button displaying the gratuity surcharge.
3. Press the Order Surcharge button. A list of available surcharge options is displayed.
4. Select No Surcharge.
5. Exit the Check Details screen and complete payment as normal.
