Customising a table object
Table objects have a number of properties that can be manipulated, as well as their size and rotation. When a table is selected, the following options are available in the Properties section of the POS Designer sidebar:
Option | Allowed Values | Description |
Shape |
Rectangle Oval |
The shape of the selected table can be changed. |
Number of Seats |
Up to 16 |
The number of seats at the selected table. POS Designer will automatically distribute the chairs around the table evenly. |
Seat Style |
Standard Booth |
Standard style places individual chairs around the table evenly. Booth style uses two benches on opposite sides of the table. Note: The Number of Seats has no effect on tables with Booth Seat Style. |
Text |
Up to 15 characters |
The text that appears on the table. This normally corresponds to the Table Number, so serving stuff know where to deliver meals. For example: 5, B2 (Booth 2) |
Table objects can be manipulated in groups by ctrl + clicking or dragging to select multiple tables. Table can be positioned, resized, rotated, and have their properties edited in groups.
