Graphic table layouts are viewed from the Checks page of the POS Main Selling Screen.
Depending on the Workstation's (or Work Area's) settings, Table Layout view may be displayed by default, or the view button can be used to toggle from the different views of the Checks page.
If the table layout in use has multiple Areas, and the Area to Display setting is set to Prompt on User Login, when logging on to POS, the user must select which area to use as the default.
Understanding tables
The Tables displayed on the Checks page have a number of characteristics to indicate the progress of a table's order.
Property | Description |

White - table is unoccupied. Blue - table is occupied. Yellow - table is occupied, but no order has been placed yet, and the Table Service Warning 1 threshold on the workstation's Workstation Group has been passed. Orange - table is occupied, but no order has been placed yet, and the Table Service Warning 2 threshold on the workstation's Workstation Group has been passed. |
Text |
Time since seated - once a check is started, until and order is placed, the time displayed is the number of minutes since the customers were seated. Time since last order - once an order has been placed at a table, the time displayed is the number of minutes since the last order. XFer time - when a check is transferred from one user to another, it flashes until the receiving user selects it. The text indicates the user that the transfer came from, and the time since it was transferred. |

Credit card icon |
Tables that have a credit card associated with them will display the card icon in the top corner. |
Understanding link buttons
Link Buttons also display information about what is happening in other areas.
Property | Description |
Occupancy |
Table area buttons - percentage of tables in the area that are occupied. For example: If there are 50 tables in the area, and 9 currently have guests seated with a check created, the occupancy figure is 18%. Cinema auditorium buttons - percentage of seats in the cinema that have a check associated with them for the next/current session. For example: If a cinema has 250 seats, and 20 are associated with a check, the occupancy figure is 34%. This figure is not the percentage of total available tickets sold. Note: Multiple seats may be associated with the same check. |
Session time |
Orange - indicates the number of minutes until the currently playing session finishes. Blue - indicates the number of minutes until the next session starts, when no session is currently playing. Note: The time values are not applicable for buttons linked to table areas. |
