If you sell tickets through a third-party remote sales channel, you might want to prevent your staff from swapping or deleting those tickets on collection. Completing this setup can help ensure that the sales data in Vista remains consistent with the data in your third-party remote sales channel.

Before you begin:

Confirm that the system settings POS-SECURITY:SecurityExchangeTickets and POS-SECURITY:SecurityBookingDeleteButton are set to a level that allows POS operators or POS managers to swap and delete unrestricted tickets. If no one can swap or delete tickets, then you don't need to restrict this action on any specific ticket type.

Steps:

1. Go to Head Office Manager or Cinema Manager > Maintenance > Ticket types.
2. Open the ticket type that you don't want users to swap or delete.
3. Select the restrictions you need.
