Area categories represent a unique pricing or seat allocation structure. You can also use area categories to define unique features of particular seats, such as whether they allow in-seat delivery of food and beverage items.

Note: You can do this in Cinema Manager or Head Office.

Steps

1. Go to Maintenance > Area categories.
2. Click Create.
3. Enter a name.
4. Click Seat Allocation if the area category requires seat allocation.
5. Enter a sequence number of this category to determine the order to display at POS.
6. Enter the description to be printed on tickets.
7. Enter the description to be printed on tickets in the alternate language.

   This will display when you tap the Alt Language button at POS.
