Order-ready notifications are available at POS for any items that require preparation in the kitchen (Cinema Manager > Items > Prepare Pickup).
Before you begin
Ask your Vista representative to complete the setup for your SMS notifications.

Setting up a POS workstation for order-ready notifications
Order-ready notifications are sent to a patron's mobile via text message. In Cinema Manager, you'll need to enable a prompt to collect these details during an order.
Follow these instructions to turn on the prompt for individual workstations in Cinema Manager:
Tip: You can also enable this prompt on Function Template forms.
- Open Cinema Manager > Maintenance > Workstations > {workstation name} > Prompts.
- Select Prompt for Details for Order-Ready Notifications.
- If your customer-facing displays are touch-enabled, your patrons can enter their own details at POS. To configure this, select Customer Monitor is Touch-Enabled on the Monitors tab in the Secondary Display section.
Note: If you don't select this option, you can still collect mobile details, but patrons must provide these to the POS operator verbally.
- This workstation can now collect patron details for order-ready notifications.
Setting up the Kitchen screen for order-ready notifications
Order-ready notifications are sent to patrons once the Made button has been tapped on the Kitchen screen.
Follow these instructions to turn on the Made button for your kitchen screen:
- Open Cinema Manager > Maintenance > Workstations > {workstation name} > Service Area.
- Select Show Made Button.
You now have the Made button available on your kitchen screen. When you select the Made button, Vista Notifier will send an SMS order-ready notification to the mobile number collected at POS.
