Adding surcharges to new-release price cards

Instead of simply excluding tickets on new-release price cards, you may want to add surcharges to tickets that are normally discounted during the new-release period.

For example: $10 Student tickets and free Staff tickets may receive a $5.00 surcharge on new releases. 

1. In Cinema Manager or Head Office, go to Maintenance > Price Cards.
2. Open the price card (group) you want to add surcharges to.
3. Select the Surcharge cell for the required ticket, and enter the amount.
   

   For example: $5.00 for Student/Staff

   Note: In a standalone or base price card, only tickets with a price of $0.00 can be given a surcharge. In a derived price card, any ticket can be given a surcharge, regardless of its price.

4. Save.
