The prepare/pickup screen available for workstations shows items for orders which need to be prepared by the kitchen.
- Preparation workstations (such as terminals in prepare areas that cannot sell tickets or concessions) will only have the prepare/pickup Screen available. New food orders will automatically appear on this screen.
- POS workstations that sell tickets and/or concessions, have the prepare\pickup screen available for viewing orders from that workstation.
The buttons available on the prepare/pickup screen are nabled or disabled in Cinema Manager > Maintenance > Workstations. With the exception of Split, they should be pressed in sequence to update the status of food orders and ensure that preparation and dispatch are completed correctly.

Split |
Separates the different items of an order into single entities. This is normally used for an order that can be made at different prepare/pickup locations (e.g. Kitchen and Bar). Select the food order and press the Split button. The order number will remain the same even after splitting. |

Start |
Select an order and press Start to indicate that preparation has begun. |
|
Made |
Select an order and press Made to indicate that preparation has been completed and the order is ready for collection. |
|
Collected |
Select an order and press Collected to indicate that the order has been collected by or delivered to the customer. |
|
Cancel |
Cancels the selected order. This may require Manager or Supervisor access to complete this action, depending on system security settings. |
Use the following buttons to determine how orders are displayed:

Press to toggle between showing orders in all areas or only the areas where this terminal is located. |

Including/Excluding Held Items |
Press to toggle between showing and hiding Held Items. |

Simple/Detailed View |
Press to toggle between the Simple and Detailed view modes. |
