Transactions from past days that have not been processed for loyalty points purposes can be recalled for loyalty reprocessing.
Reprocessing is useful if a customer forgets their loyalty card and returns wanting their points put on their loyalty card.
Transactions that have already been processed for loyalty are not able to be processed again.
The number of days allowing the recall of transactions can be set by in Cinema Manager > Maintenance > System Setting under LoyaltyReprocessingDays.
Steps
To recall a transaction for loyalty reprocessing:
- At POS, tap the More button.
- Press the Loyalty button.
- Swipe the loyalty card. If the swipe fails, enter member details and press the Enter button.
- Press the Process Loyalty button on the Loyalty screen.
- Press the button corresponding to the method to locate the transaction by. Each method will result in accepting a transaction to process for loyalty.
- The Loyalty screen will reappear for further processing once the transaction has been accepted.
Repeat steps 4 - 5 if required.
Note: Steps 1 - 2 will not need to be completed if the swipe loyalty prompt appears before the new transaction.
Options for reprocessing loyalty transactions
Button | Details |
Last Transaction | The last transaction button will display the last transaction that has occurred on the current day. This option will not be available if no transactions have occurred on the current day. Press the Accept button to process the transaction or the Exit button to return to the Loyalty screen. |
Enter Transaction Number | Pressing this button will present a keypad where a transaction number can be entered for processing. Enter the required transaction number and press the Enter button. Press the Accept button to process the transaction or the Exit button to return to the Loyalty screen. |
Select Transaction | Pressing this button will produce a list of transactions to select from. Use the arrows to scroll up and down through the list. Press the required transaction to select. The selected transaction details will then display, press the Accept button to process the transaction or the Exit button to return to the Loyalty screen. |
Select User | Pressing this button will produce a list of users to select from. Use the arrows to scroll up and down through the list and press the required user to select. A list of transactions completed by the selected user will appear, scroll and select the required transaction. Details of the selected transaction will display, press the Accept button to process the transaction or the Exit button to return to the Loyalty screen. |
Select Workstation | Pressing this button will produce a list of workstations to select from. Use the arrows to scroll up and down through the list and press the required workstation to select. A list of transactions that occurred on the selected workstation will appear, scroll and select the required transaction. Details of the selected transaction will display, press the Accept button to process the transaction or the Exit button to return to the Loyalty screen. |
