There are two different ways to access the Gift Card Adjustment Wizard:
In the Gift Card Inquiry application, click the Adjust Card button on the Tools ribbon tab to open the wizard. All Gift Card results returned in the search will be displayed in the wizard table.
In the Gift Card Inquiry application, double-click a Gift Card returned in the search results to open the Gift Card Detail window, and click the Adjust Card button to open the wizard. Only the selected Gift Card will be displayed in the wizard table.
Use the first option to adjust batches of gift cards, and the second option to adjust individual gift cards.
Warning: Because the first option will edit ALL Gift Cards returned in the search results, it is important to ensure that the search returns only the Gift Cards you wish to adjust. This may require very specific criteria to be entered in the fields on the Home ribbon tab of the Gift Card Inquiry application, before completing a search.

The first option in the Gift Card Adjustment Wizard is to select which detail of the selected Gift Card(s) you wish to adjust: Change Status - the status can be changed for one or more Gift Cards. Change Value - the selected Gift Card(s) can be given an increase in value, a decrease in value, or an entirely new value. |
