There are two different ways to access the Gift Card Adjustment Wizard:

In the Gift Card Inquiry application, click the Adjust Card button on the Tools ribbon tab to open the wizard. All Gift Card results returned in the search will be displayed in the wizard table.

In the Gift Card Inquiry application, double-click a Gift Card returned in the search results to open the Gift Card Detail window, and click the Adjust Card button to open the wizard. Only the selected Gift Card will be displayed in the wizard table.

Use the first option to adjust batches of gift cards, and the second option to adjust individual gift cards.

Warning: Because the first option will edit ALL Gift Cards returned in the search results, it is important to ensure that the search returns only the Gift Cards you wish to adjust. This may require very specific criteria to be entered in the fields on the Home ribbon tab of the Gift Card Inquiry application, before completing a search.

Please Select:	Change Status Change Value	The first option in the Gift Card Adjustment Wizard is to select which detail of the selected Gift Card(s) you wish to adjust: Change Status - the status can be changed for one or more Gift Cards. Change Value - the selected Gift Card(s) can be given an increase in value, a decrease in value, or an entirely new value.
Back		Click to return to the previous screen.
Next		Click to proceed to the next step.
Cancel		Click to exit the wizard and return to the Gift Card Inquiry application or the Gift Card Detail window.

Change Status

Please select a new status	Issued Active Expired Deactivated Blacklisted Voided	The status to which you wish to change the selected Gift Card(s). Warning: Once a Gift Card has been configured as Expired, it cannot be reactived.
Issue Value	Any monetary value	The balance to be given to the Gift Card(s). Note: This option is only available when changing the status to Issued or Active.
Comment	Any comment	A comment which can be used for recording a reason for why the Gift Card(s) were adjusted.

The balance of a Gift Card can be adjusted in one of three ways:

New Value - gives a new balance to the Gift Card, regardless of its previous balance.

Increase - increases the current balance of the Gift Card by a specified amount.

Decrease - decreases the current balance of the Gift Card by a specified amount.

A comment which can be used for recording a reason for why the Gift Card(s) were adjusted.
