When you create a new Voucher Type record, you'll be prompted to set voucher prices by specifying an issue price and a redemption price. You can later adjust voucher pricing and set new effective dates to have your updated pricing scheme begin when you choose.
Note: Voucher prices do not affect gift card pricing.
Set voucher prices using the Voucher Prices form in Voucher Manager > Maintenance.
Note: When you edit a Voucher Price record, you can't change the voucher type or the effective date. Create a new Voucher Price record when you want to set these details.
Option | Allowed Values | Description |
Voucher Type |
Any configured voucher type |
The voucher type that this Voucher Price record applies to. Note: Each Voucher Price record can apply to only one voucher type. |
Effective Date |
Any date, in your computer's local date format |
The date on which the voucher price comes into effect. On this date, the price you specify will automatically replace any previously configured pricing. |
Issue Price |
Any monetary value |
The price at which the voucher type will be issued (sold). |
Redeem Price |
Any monetary value |
The price at which the voucher type will be redeemed. |
Ticket Voucher Redeem Price / Payment Voucher Redeem Price / Miscellaneous Voucher Redeem Price |
Any monetary value |
These options are required for multi-use vouchers. Set the redeem price of each redeemable type separately. Example: A multi-use voucher can be redeemed for up to 5 tickets and $10 worth of concessions. The Payment Voucher Redeem Price would be $10, while the Ticket Voucher Redeem Price could be the usual redemption price you use for ticket vouchers. |
