If your CashManagementMethod system setting is set to CASHUP or FUNDMGMT, staff must confirm the POS float during login.
The Confirm float screen appears the first time that staff log into POS on any business day.
- Count the amount of each payment group that you have been given as your float, and confirm that it matches the amount shown on the Confirm Float screen.
- If the amounts do not match, correct the problem.
Depending on your organisation's policies, you may be able to tap Increase to enter the value of the float yourself. Otherwise, click Cancel and ask a manager to correct the amount in Cinema Manager. - When the float amounts are displayed correctly, click Confirm.
