Select this option to have points calculated and awarded automatically when a member completes a purchase or transaction. This allows members to see what points they have gained immediately upon completing a purchase.

Warning: This option may adversely affect the transaction response. Vista recommends limiting the number of points promotions that use this option.

Earning Amount

Any number

A number, used together with the Earning Type that determines how many extra units are earned by members during the promotion.

Fixed Points Per Transaction

Determines how the Earning Amount affects unit earnings during the promotion.

Points Multiplier: Earned units are multiplied by the Earning Amount.

If Award at Purchase is selected, then units are earned for every item in the transaction.

If Award at Purchase is cleared, then units are earned for matching items in the transaction.

Fixed Points Per Matching Item: Qualifying members earn the Earning Amount with each matching item.

Fixed Points Per Transaction: Qualifying members earn the Earning Amount with each transaction.

Balance Type

Any configured balance type

The Balance Type to which the points promotion applies.

Date From

The date on which the points promotion begins.

Date To

The date on which the points promotion ends.

Marks the promotion's status as active or inactive.
