Paying off a check's items in separate payments

A check's items may be paid off individually from the Check Details screen, without the operator having to create separate checks for the items in advance.

1. Open the Check Details screen.
2. Tap the items that you want to pay off from the tab.
3. Tap Pay Check.
4. Choose a method for paying off the selected tab items.
   • Pay by Creating Quick Checks: Creates and pays off a check containing the selected items. The unpaid items are placed onto a second check. Select the items in the second check and tap Pay Check to repeat the process until all lines are paid.
     Use this method to quickly process a large group of patrons who are queuing to to pay for individual lines of a tab.
   • Pay Value of Selected Items: Pays off only the value of selected items.
   • Just Pay Current Amount: Pays off the current amount to pay in a single payment.
