Task Manager is an application for setting up and running Vista Cloud's scheduled tasks in Cinema Manager, Head Office, Vouchers & Gift Cards.
When you open Task Manager from a particular application, you'll only see the tasks that are relevant to that application. For example, if you open Task Manager in Head Office, you'll only see tasks appropriate to Head Office.
Running a task
- Open Task Manager.
- Select the task that you want to run.
- Click Run.
Running a task with custom values
Running a task with custom values allows you to specify the parameters of the task (for example, the date range of an extract) instead of using the task's default values.
Your custom values are only used for this single run; they are not saved.
- Open Task Manager.
- Select the task that you want to run with custom values.
- Click Custom Run.
- If the task is configured in Legacy Format, the Output Options can be configured in a single input line.
- If the task is configured in Parameter Format, the Parameters can be set along with their Values in a grid interface.
Note: The task format only applies to Export Tasks, that is, tasks with the Type Export (exp).
- Enter the custom Output Options or define the custom Parameters and Values you wish to use for the export task.
- Click Run.
