If you're using living tickets at your cinema as well as contact tracing, the two features will interact with each other at POS. You need to make sure your POS operators have access to the correct forms to both capture contact details and use the living ticket.
For contact tracing, we're making the booking form required for all orders at POS. However, when using living tickets, this form is normally suppressed. This is done to stop POS operators unintentionally creating an unpaid booking and selling a living ticket for the same order.
When you're using both features, you'll need to complete the following steps to avoid outstanding unpaid bookings. All bookings will need to be paid for and picked up when they're created at POS.
Steps
Warning! If you intend to use both living tickets and contact tracing, the following configuration will stop POS operators from creating unpaid bookings.
- Open Back Office, and go to System Settings.
- Set the system setting ForceBookingPaymentAndPickup to Yes.
Note: When enabled, the booking form is displayed at POS when using living tickets. All bookings must be paid and picked up immediately after completing an order. Unpaid bookings are no longer possible at POS.
