Editing modifiers of an item on a check

If an item has been modified and added to an order, it is still possible to re-open the item line and change its modifiers.

1. In the Check screen, select the tab containing the item whose modifiers you want to edit.
2. Choose Open Line so the Modifiers screen appears.
3. Add or remove modifiers from the item.
4. Choose Done.
   A prepare slip describing the changed modifiers is automatically sent to the prepare area.

Tip: Use the Item Comment button to add additional information to an item. For example, if a guest asks to have their burger cut in half, an appropriate comment can be added while modifiers are being included. The item comment is displayed on the Modifiers and Kitchen screen, providing kitchen staff with clear visibility of order specifics. The item comment will display on the Modifiers and Kitchen screen under the item.

Note: If an item comment is added to a modifier, the item comment will be visible under the parent recipe item. If an item comment is added to an item package, the item comment will be visible under all the items within the package.
