Preferences help capture a member's interests and choices when they sign up to your Loyalty programme. For marketing content that's more targeted and personalised, you can tailor what information to send to a member based on the preferences they select.
All members are grouped into various preference types (if a member doesn't select one, a default preference is assigned). A preference type is a category, such as "Select your favourite genres", which contains preferences, such as "Horror" or "Fantasy". Other preferences you might want to ask about include things like seating preference, cinema preference, and available offers.
Tip: Use preferences to let Loyalty members choose the promotional information they wish to receive and/or opt-in to available newsletters.

Preferences must be assigned to a preference type, so create your preference types first.
