Discounts may be available for certain types of concessions and ticket types, depending on settings.
Concession discounts can be set up in Back Office under Concession Discount Types. Ticket Type discounts can be set up in Back Office under Price Card Ticket Maintenance.
Discounts are not displayed in the Concessions screen or the Tickets screen and are only seen when the POS user clicks the Discount button before selecting a concession or ticket type. A list of one or more discounts is displayed for the user to choose from and apply.
The Discount button will turn off after every concession is selected. To keep the Discount button turned on between selecting items, the system setting DiscountButtonTurnOff must be configured to No.
To sell a concession or ticket type with a discount:
- Tap More > Discount.
- In the Tickets or Concessions screen, select the ticket or item to discount.
- Select the discount to apply.
The discount is added to the Order window.
Note: Depending on the system settings, the operator may need to press the Discount button between selecting items.
