Setting up an age-restricted item

In a food & beverage environment where alcoholic items are sold, you may wish to configure age restrictions on items. Different actions can be required of operators to enforce age restrictions.

1. In Head Office or Cinema Manager, create a new Item, or open an existing one: Maintenance > Items.
2. On the main Item tab, select Age Restricted.
3. Set the Minimum Age in years that a customer needs to be to purchase the item.
4. Select the Required Action.
5. Click Save.
