The main screen shows tickets or concessions that are available for sale. Click the tabs at the top of the screen to change between the tickets screen and the concessions screen.
The bottom of the screen displays the date, logged on user, the last sale amount and last change amount (if any change has been given).
POS buttons
POS buttons are visible on the main screen, the alternate tickets screen, and the payment screen
Tapping a POS button will either perform an action, display a screen, or cause the button to become highlighted. Highlighted buttons act as a toggle. To turn off the toggle and return the button to its original colour, tap the highlighted button.
In some circumstances, a button may be disabled. Buttons are disabled when they are not appropriate for the function currently being performed by the POS operator. A disabled button becomes available when appropriate. For example, the Seats button remains disabled until you have selected a session and ticket that uses allocated seating.
The presence and layout of the POS buttons can be configured individually for each workstation, so that only the required buttons are visible.
Only the most commonly-used buttons are visible initially. The remaining buttons are hidden behind a menu. To access the buttons behind the menu, tap the More button. This button will become a Close button while the second menu is open. Tap Close to close the menu.
Note: Some buttons are controlled by Cinema Manager system settings and may not appear unless they have been set up.
