Some buttons require specific settings to be configured in order for the button to display on the Main screen.
The buttons with required settings are listed below with a corresponding description and the setting values.
Buttons not listed here will appear on the Main screen if they are made visible in the POS Button Layout Maintenance form.
Day End Button

Discount Button

Set to Yes will allow the Discount button to display when selecting the Tickets tab. Set to No will only allow Concessions to be discounted with the Discount button. |
DiscountButtonTurnOff |
Set to Yes will turn the Discount button off after each concession or ticket item. This will involve pressing the Discount button again to apply another discount. Set to No allows the Discount button to be pressed once and it will remain on until the order is complete. |
DiscountTypeAlwaysSelect |
Set to Yes will activate a pop-up list of discount types when the Discount button is pressed within an order. Set to No assumes the same discount type within the order. |
Fiscal Button

If Yes, then concession sales will be allowed to continue when the server is unavailable. Transactions are generated when the server is back online. If No, then concession sales offline is not available. |
Open Button

Set to Yes allows the cash drawer to only be opened when the payment or refund contains cash. |
CashDrawerBeepAfterSecs |
This determines the number of seconds the cash drawer can stay open before a beep sound is made. |
Workstation Maintenance Form |
If the checkbox, 'Lock POS when Cashdrawer is open', is checked (For OPOS type cashdrawers only), then POS will lock automatically when the cash drawer is opened. |
Receipt Button

Set to Yes allows the Receipt button to display. |
ReceiptPrintAuto |
Set to Yes automatically prints a receipt when the order is complete. Set to No requires the Receipt button to be pressed in order to print a receipt. |

Set to Yes allows ticket details to be printed on the receipt. |
PrintRefundTicketsSummarised |
Set to Yes can print multiple tickets refunded per transaction on one slip. A new template 'RefundTicketsSummarised.txt' is used. |
ReceiptType |
Set to STAN (standard) allows receipt and ticket details to be printed. Set to CONC (concession) allows only concession information to be printed. |
Refresh Button

Length of time in minutes that the automatic refresh goes off. |
SessionDaysRetrieved |
Number of days of sessions to retrieve into memory (Default is 3). Keeping this to a minimum reduces the time it takes to perform an automatic refresh. However, when a date is selected outside this range, POS has to load the new dates into memory, which is slower. |
Ticket Number Button
