Sometimes, you may want to override a selling limit and allow sales of items that are marked as sold out. This may be appropriate when working with unpaid bookings that've been ordered through remote sales channels (such as Kiosk or Web). For example, if an unpaid booking is waiting to be collected but contains a sold-out item that can be purchased immediately at POS.
Tip: You can use the system setting SecurityItemAllowSoldOut to ensure POS operators have security approval to make a sale for an item that's marked as sold out.
