This report shows information about Concession Item Classes. It gives an excellent overview of sales figures and percentages generated by Concession Item Groups. All figures presented are Net.
Total Net Concession Revenue per Item Class and the Percentage of Sales Mix they accounted for are included. The Net Cost of an item and its percentage of total revenue generated is reported. Net profit and Profit as a percentage of total net revenue generated is reported by item group. An average of the net sales per total admit by item class is also included. A Total Column sums all concession item groups figures to provide a comprehensive overview of Concessions Sales Mix.
Note: This report is accessed with the Hourly concession analysis report.

The report can be run over the period of the user’s choice and will only display sales data that relates to concessions sold during the selected period. |
Cinema |
For cinema complexes that operate more than one cinema, users have the option of running the report for a single cinema, rather than the entire cinema complex. In this case only sales data for the selected cinema will be calculated and displayed. |

Term | Description |
Item Class |
This refers to the item class that a concession has been assigned to. For example, a Large Popcorn could fall under the Item Class Popcorn Containers. This action is performed by the operator in Item Maintenance. |
Net Concession Revenue (NCR) |
The combined net sales of this item group during the report period. |
Sales Mix (%) |
This figure is the proportion of total concession sales that the item group generated in the selected date period. This is calculated by dividing each item groups net revenue by the total net concessions revenue and multiplying by 100. |
Cost of Goods (COG): Net |
The Net cost of the particular item group before the price is marked up and sold to patrons. |
Cost of Goods (COG): Percent |
The percentage value that item costs (before being marked up) comprised of the net revenue that the item class generated in the date period selected. This is calculated by dividing Cost of Goods:Net by the Net Concession Revenue and multiplying by 100. |
Profit: Net |
This is the net profit that was made on each item group. This is calculated by subtracting the Net Cost of Goods from Net Concession Revenue of each item group. |
Profit:Percent |
The percentage of the Net Concession Revenue that is profit. This is calculated as Std Profit (38) as a percentage of Net Price (36). The totals are the weighted average Standard Profit Percentage of the items above. |
Net sales per Paid Admit (SPPA) |
The average net value of sales that each Concession Item Class generated per admit. It is calculated by Net Concession Revenue of the Item Class by the Total Admits (Including sales, vouchers and redemptions). The total refers to the average net spend on Concession items per admit in the date range selected. |
