Admits

Refers to the number of patrons who either purchased a ticket to a film or redeemed a comp or voucher in the date period selected.

Gross

This is the gross revenue from vouchers, comps, ticket sales (advance and prior) and redemptions during the selected date period.

Tax

The combined value of the four tax levels charged to all sales of tickets and vouchers (advance and prior).

Net

The net revenue received from all the sales and redemptions of tickets and vouchers (advance and prior). It is the gross minus any tax that has been incurred on the transactions.

Less Redemptions

The number of vouchers that were redeemed in the date period is subtracted from the Box Office Subject to Tax this Period

Less Prior Sales

This excludes tickets that have been redeemed to a film that were not purchased in the date range selected.

Box Office Subject to Tax this period

The total taxable number of tickets purchased (advance sales included) in the date period. Prior sales and voucher redemptions are excluded from this figure as the money taken would have gone through the till on the date that the tickets were purchased.

Advanced Comps and Redemptions

This refers to tickets that were issued for the future as a result of a comp or voucher being redeemed.

Plus Prepaid Sales

Refers to the Advance Sales, Comps and Vouchers purchased for the future which have been paid for in the date range selected. These figures are added to the Total Box Office Receipts.

Total Box Office Receipts

This is the end calculation of the total amount and number of tickets, vouchers and comps issued after prior sales and redemptions have been subtracted and advance ticket sales, comps and vouchers added.

Total Discounts

Refers to the total amount as well as value of discounts issued in the selected date period.
